About Bear River Legal
Jason Jones is the founder and principal of Bear River Legal PLLC. He has designed Bear River Legal to be an impact-driven, boutique M&A law firm, focused solely on helping entrepreneurs. He is also a professor of law at North Carolina Central University School of Law, where he teaches Contracts, Corporate Law, and Entrepreneurship Law. At NCCU LAW, his research focuses on the intersection of entrepreneurship and economic justice. Prior to founding Bear River Legal and joining the faculty at NCCU LAW, Jason was General Counsel as well as Managing Director for Operations and Business Development for a specialty tax consulting company, helping to scale the company 15x during his 7-year tenure.
